Mary Nelson Barnett | Project Designer

 

Growing up in Savannah, Georgia, Mary Nelson established a love of historic architecture and timeless design at an early age. Her passion for design took her to the University of Georgia, where she graduated from the Lamar Dodd School of Art with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. Upon graduation, she began her career at Ferry, Hayes & Allen Designers, where she built a foundation of knowledge in traditional, contract design. Her desires to explore residential work lead her to Amy Morris Interiors, a leader in transitional residential design.

 

Mary Nelson's experience with commercial and residential projects has refined her attention to detail at every level. Her style has evolved to blend time-honored design with a look that is fresh and current. Mary Nelson believes that collaboration - whether with an architect, design team, committee or individual - is the key to lasting design and a successful project. Mary Nelson values the personal relationships with her clients and strives to understand their needs and wants in order to deliver a product that is unique, personal and stands the test of time.
